Mozaik Pasta

This delicious fridge/freezer "cake" is so easy to make.  Apparently, there's one in the freezer of every household in Turkey, and now there's my version as well, as mentioned in my blog.  Of course, here is the original site.  That would be the triangle on the plate.

125g Butter

Please tell me you use the real stuff.  No?  I can't believe you have Margarine in your fridge.  Oh alright, so do I , but for baking, please, as Julia Childs said:  "Everything is better with butter"

125ml Milk
100g Sugar
4 heavy heaped tablespoons Cacao

You know the dark Dutch one.  Don't make me repeat myself.

50g Wallnuts
50g Almonds
50g Pistachios

And if you have my luck, then the bloody Pistachios are only available in shells, and you have to spend half an hour on shelling them, and the 100g packet you bought ends up at 50g.

350g Tennis Biscuits (that's 1 3/4 packet.  Just take 2 packets, eat 7 biscuits and you should be okay)

- Now then, we've finally gotten through the ingredients, so crush your biscuits, but don't turn them into powder.  You want nice chunky pieces.

- Heat the milk, butter & sugar to a smooth liquid.  Mix in the Cacao.

- Add the biscuits and crushed nuts, and mix well.

- Line a tin with clingwrap.  I pressed my mixture into a triangle tin of about 30cm length.  That should easily deliver 20 slices.

- Freeze overnight until solid. You can slice it with a sharp knife from frozen, but let it soften a bit before eating it.
